Melissa’s Profile

photo-4Melissa is originally from Kansas and has spent time in Texas, before finally calling Colorado her home in 2012. She received both her Bachelors of Science in Biology and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Wichita State University. Melissa has had extensive experience in the orthopedic setting and fosters a hands-on, manual approach while treating her patients. She also employs trigger point dry needing with her patients as part of their treatment protocol and has undergone Functional Dry Needling Levels 1 & 2 as part of her training. Melissa works diligently to ensure that each patient’s exercise program is tailored to their specific needs and goals. Melissa enjoys working with all age groups as she strives to provide a personalized plan of care. Patient education is a main stay of Melissa’s treatment delivery, working to empower her patients and guide them toward a healthy lifestyle. During her free time, Melissa enjoys everything that is Colorado including snowboarding, biking, and hiking with her boyfriend and chocolate Labrador, Leroy.
